Custom Rose Pin

I had a special commission request this spring for a rose pin for a birthday gift. I loved creating this piece!

I used leaves from the rose bush in my garden to get the texture on the leaves and I added shading with chalk pastels to give it depth.

I used my foam block and large dotting tool to create the petals. I love how they overlap and add shadow and depth to the piece.
