Driving home one day my neighbor’s azalea bush caught my eye. It was almost perfectly spherical and the light shone through the purple flowers making them almost sparkle. I wanted to capture that moment with these earrings. I used color shift mica on the flowers to give that feeling of capturing the light. The texture is made of liquid polymer clay and silver leaf and then is covered in a green mica powder. These earrings measure 2.2 inches long by 1.5 inches wide and have stainless steel posts.
