Botanical Portraits
For these earrings I wanted to create mini botanical line drawings and frame them, and I love how these turned out! Each piece features a “wood” background, a line drawing made from extruded clay and dusted in gold mica powder, and a textured frame made from gold leaf and liquid polymer clay. Each piece is unique and posts are stainless steel/titanium. The texture, shine, and detail in these pieces truly make them one-of-a-kind.
These pieces were created during the Artists in Action Residency Program at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center.
