These earrings are hand-painted with acrylic gouache and sealed with resin for extra shine and durability. I wanted to capture the center of a flower and the feeling of the starburst radiance of color as the petals extend. They measure 2.4 inches long by 1.8 inches wide.
These were created during the Artists in Action Residency Program at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center.
